VENUE CHOICE (Venue Magazine) 'An extension of the highly successful 'new flamenco' Trio Gitano who leapt into national prominence with their debut CD 'Who Ate All The Tapas', the addition of trumpet, violin and double bass gives the TGC the chance to bring a Gypsy jazz dimension to their sound.'Flamenco and Gypsy jazz from Bristol and Brum. When three young Birmingham guitarists called Trio Gitano made 'Who Ate All the Tapas?' in 2005, The Sunday Times named it as one of its top five albums of the year. With original members Sam Slater and Jamie Fekete now augmented by trumpet, double bass and violin, the TG Collective appear alongside local flamenco heroes Calima, with Kevin Byrne and Cuffy on guitars, and Ivan Moreno on percussion, who also busk in the bar after the concert.
