Mendelssohn Hebrides Overture
Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto in C
Beethoven Symphony No 7 in A

Following Mendelssohn’s turbulent seascape, Bristol Classical Players are joined by Michelle Krawiec and Julia
Hammersley for Mozart’s serene Flute and Harp Concerto. The second half is devoted to the most dynamic of
Beethoven’s symphonies, the irresistible Seventh. Wagner himself called it ‘the apotheosis of the dance’ and once danced to the whole work, played by Liszt on the piano. We challenge you to stay in your seats…

Fancy a sneak preview? Bristol Classical Players will be opening their rehearsal to members of the public from 2:30 – 3:30 with a chance to talk to players in the break following this session. A great opportunity to sample the orchestral experience to see if it is something you and your family might enjoy!
