Beethoven Overture Op 84 ‘Egmont’
Brahms Concerto for Violin and Cello in A minor
Schumann Symphony No 2 in C

Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra welcomes two brilliant and equally-matched soloists, Charis and Kirsten Jenson, twin sisters who were educated in Bristol, for a performance of Brahms’ intricately beautiful Double Concerto. Schumann’s second symphony is an uplifting, lyrical work that triumphs over the composer’s depression. The concert opens with Beethoven’s fiery and expressive Egmont Overture.

Pre-Concert Talk 6.30-7pm

There will be a talk about the works being performed given by Jonathan James in the Auditorium. Entry free to ticket-holders.
