Timothy West narrator*

Follow Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad on their unforgettable escapades on the river, through the wild wood, behind the wheel, and battling to regain Toad Hall from the weasels.  Kenneth Grahame’s popular tale is brought to life in this brand new musical version by composer Richard Birchall, performed by the thrilling cello octet and narrated by one of the UK’s best-loved actors.  The performance is preceded by a selection of works inspired by the natural world, including Berio’s extraordinary and evocative ‘Korot’.

*Simon Callow is no longer able to take part in this performance, but we are delighted that Timothy West has agreed to be the narrator in his place.
