‘Breaking the Spell of Loneliness’

The celebrated columnist and political/environmental campaigner and commentator George Monbiot joins forces
with leading folk singer and musician (and Bristol resident) Ewan McLennan for a unique collaboration in words and music. The venture originated in an article about loneliness that George wrote for The Guardian which immediately went viral. He and Ewan subsequently extended the ideas in the article into a series of songs that
together make up a new album, The Age of Loneliness. This very rare live performance will feature Ewan performing the songs while George talks about the stories and hinterland behind them.
