Handel’s thrilling masterpiece ‘Messiah’ is surely the greatest oratorio of all time.  It boasts a plethora of arias and choruses, from the beautiful ‘I Know That My Redeemer Liveth’ to the magnificent and joyful ‘Hallelujah Chorus’.
Messiah was premiered at a concert in which the profits were distributed amongst worthy causes, so it’s particularly fitting that tonight’s performance is given in aid of St George’s own ‘Building a Sound Future’ Capital Appeal.
Two of Bristol’s great ensembles, and four high profile soloists, join forces for this very special occasion – so please join us for some spine-tingling, uplifint moments as the music moves from darkness to light and we seek to hit our fundraising target!
