The landmark BBC natural history series ‘Frozen Planet’ is David Attenborough’s ultimate portrait of the last great wilderness on earth, the Polar Regions. Using the latest in film technology, the frozen wildernesses of the Arctic and Antarctica are brought to the screen as they have never been seen before, and may never be seen again. Here, Alastair Fothergill, Executive Director, and Vanessa Berlowitz, Series Director, showcase spectacular footage from the series, take a deeper look at the challenges of such a massive film project, and discuss the habitat in crisis.
