Ishay Shaer (piano)

Beethoven Six Bagatelles Op 126; Eleven Bagatelles Op 119
Schumann Symphonic Etudes Op 13

One of Israel’s leading young pianists, the award-winning Ishay Shaer is a regular performer at Queen Elizabeth Hall and Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, and with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Here, he brings his superb articulation and brilliant focus to persuasive interpretations of Beethoven’s ‘sweetly enigmatic’ Bagatelles Op 33 and Schumann’s impulsive and wide-ranging Etudes symphoniques.

‘Everything which the Israeli pianist Ishay Shaer delivered had fluency and grace.’ Classical Music Magazine

‘Great music performed by a great pianist that you do not want to miss.’ Texas Public Radio
