Evening pre-concert meals St George's Bristol does not offer food before evening concerts.
However, the highly regarded Goldbrick House, situated on the corner of Charlotte Street and a one minute walk from St George's, offers all audience members a special, bespoke St George's pre-concert menu: classically influenced modern European cuisine, by an acclaimed chef, putting particular emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced, traditionally-produced, seasonal ingredients. The menu includes: (starters) Cornish mackerel; oxtail ravioli; cauliflower soup; ham hock and parsley broth; (main courses) hake fillet; smoked haddock risotto; pork belly; winter Wellington; (desserts) praline rice pudding; winterberry and white chocolate clafoutis; and homemade ice creams. Harry's Bar Harry's is very popular as a wine bar serving a thoughtfully selected range of wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks, as well as hot drinks and light snacks – enjoy a relaxed drink before a concert, or meet up with friends during the interval.
Bar Opening Times Harry's Bar is normally open 1½ hours before the performance starts and during the interval.
After each of St George's Migrations 2010 concerts our crypt transforms into a festival bar, playing host to an after-show party / late music session featuring fantastic local musicians and DJs playing the very best in world music, from Gypsy jazz to African roots, and with special low prices on beers and wines and exclusive drinks promotions.
