3 May – Brodowski String Quartet visits 2 school cluster groups for interactive performance

6 May – ‘Summer Serenade’ Family Concert with Bristol Ensemble String Quartet, presented by Laura Tanner

9 May – Bristol Schools Philharmonia public concert, promoted in collaboration with St George’s Bristol

10 May – Opus 1 Piano Trio post-lunchtime concert workshop with young instrumentalists

26 June – Bristol Schools Chamber Choir public concert, promoted in collaboration with St George’s Bristol

Future Projects

Sunday 16 September 3pm – Drum Blondes family concert, for age 6+  With percussion Workshop at 1pm

Sunday 7 October 2pm – A Musical Mystery Tour! Family concert with Simon Mayor and Hilary James of the Mandolinquents, for age 6+

Sunday 21 October 10.30am – 10.30pm – Gathering Voices Festival of Song Day

Tuesday 23 October 4pm – Public Masterclass led by cellist Matthew Barley, with local talented young players

Monday 29 October 3.45pm – Wild Words present Vikram and the Vampire (Halloween Storytelling for 7 – 11 year olds), performed ‘in the round’.  With ‘Playshop’ at 2.30pm

Sunday 4 November 10am/11.15am – Bangin’ Brass children’s concert, presented by Laura Tanner with brass players from the Bristol Ensemble.  For children aged 3 – 8 years, performed ‘in the round’.

Tuesday 20 November 4pm – Public Masterclass led by pianist Daniel Tong, with local talented young players

Thursday 6 December 1pm – Cosmos and Friends lunchtime concert (Cosmos is St George’s children’s community choir project in South Bristol)

Sunday 9 December – Bristol Schools’ Chamber Choir Christmas Concert, in association with St George’s
