How will my money make a difference?
Every pound donated to St George’s Bristol goes towards one of two areas: the eclectic artistic, education and exhibitions programme, or the vital maintenance and upkeep of the beautiful Georgian building that we call home. Without financial help, St George’s could not programme high calibre concerts and events, or tend to the everyday needs of our 200 year old building and gardens.
Every year we need to raise a third of our income from voluntary sources. Your financial support helps us book artists and helps us take music making experiences to children and adults in and around Bristol. It also helps with all the costs that go into keeping the show on the road: piano tuning, printing the brochures, fire prevention, security, gardening, cleaning, computer systems, stage lighting … the list goes on.
£10 can provide sheet music for the children of the Cosmos Choir
£25 will pay the travel expenses for a young artist to perform at St George’s
£50 covers the cost of tuning the Steinway Grand Piano
£100 helps us provide free tickets to schools as part of our Education and Learning Programme
£250 is the hire cost of a harpsichord or PA system
£500 allows us to continue to develop the young artists of the future
£1,000 can help us produce new education projects
Thank you for your support – every pound helps.
