Goldbrick House
The highly regarded Goldbrick House, situated on the corner of Charlotte Street and a one minute walk from St George’s, offers all audience members a special, bespoke St George’s pre-concert menu: classically influenced modern European cuisine, by an acclaimed chef, putting particular emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced, traditionally-produced, seasonal ingredients.
Early Evening Menu
Served in the main restaurant from 6pm – 7pm.
2 courses for £10 or 3 courses for £13.
Goldbrick House ensures that all meals are served in sufficient time to enable customers to attend performances starting at 7.30pm.

Great Food On-Site
Each season St George’s is joined at selected concerts by some of the great names of the Bristol restaurant scene, providing exciting food at reasonable prices with fast, friendly service: Thali Cafe (inspired Asian street food), Pieminister, (connoisseur pie, mash and gravy), The Clifton Sausage (classic British dishes with imagination) and The Real Olive Company (Mediterranean-infused tapas and pasta).
Food is available at selected events, as highlighted throughout the listings, in the Crypt Cafe / Bar, until ten minutes prior to the start of each half of the performance.
Lunchtime pre-concert meals
St George’s offers snacks and soups before each Thursday Lunchtime Classics concert.
Crypt Cafe / Bar
The Crypt Café / Bar is very popular as a wine bar serving a thoughtfully selected range of wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks, as well as hot drinks and light snacks – enjoy a relaxed drink before a concert, or meet up with friends during the interval.
Bar Opening Times
Harry’s Cafe / Bar is normally open one and a half hours before the performance start times and during the interval.
After selected concerts the Café / Bar plays host to FreeStage (free-entry) Late Music Sessions / after-show parties, featuring fantastic local musicians and DJs playing the very best in world music and jazz, from Gypsy jazz to African roots, and with special low prices on beers and wines and exclusive drinks promotions.
Interval Drinks
Many concert-goers choose to pre-order interval drinks for added convenience.
