“…a young artist possessed of enviable technique and a rich broad palette. ” – Classical Music Magazine
This concert is presented by St George’s Bristol in association with Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT). YCAT is the UK’s only charity dedicated to providing long-term support to the most extraordinary young musicians of the generation. YCAT provides bespoke professional management at the highest level for a small group of selected artists. At the most crucial stage of their careers, we prepare them for life as an international performer. Our approach to management is tailored to each young artist, relevant to their particular developmental needs.
National Promotion has been at the heart of YCAT’s work for 35 years. Not only is it a vital experience for emerging musicians, we believe our artists’ gift should be shared with all, regardless of geographical circumstances. YCAT Artists give over 470 concerts a year to every corner of the UK, from St Magnus International Music Festival in Orkney to Penzance Orchestral Society; performing to an audience of 50,000+.
YCAT is like no other organisation. We are unique from any other artist management. Our work is purely artistic, developmentally led, and not profit driven. Our objective is to provide artists with a safe environment in which they can create, explore and perform.
We are grateful to the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust for their support in subsidising tickets for 8 – 25 year olds at this concert, as part of the CAVATINA Ticket Scheme. cavatina.net
