Part of the Keyboard Festival

The Leeds International Piano Competition has long been one of the world’s most celebrated music competitions, launching the careers of some of the greatest pianists of our time, not least Radu Lupu and Murray Perahia.  In 2018 St George’s held the first solo recital with that year’s winner, pianist Eric Lu, and it was a truly wonderful moment: musical history in the making.

In September, this 20th edition of the competition will welcome its most internationally diverse line up ever of brilliant musicians to Leeds, and St George’s will then host one of the very first public recitals by its winner.

Tickets can be booked now and further details will be announced in September, hot off the press following the Final on 18 September.
