All members of this exciting young trio are currently students at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM).
Ayla Sahin (19) is a compelling young violinist studying with Jack Liebeck. Ayla gives regular solo and chamber performances across the UK and Europe and has most recently appeared at the
LacMus Festival, Veraõ Classico and Victoria International Arts Festival. A passionate chamber musician, Ayla has received regular coaching from esteemed musicians including Catherine Manson, Alisdair Beatson, Robert Max and Adrian Brendel.
Jonah Spindel (20) currently studies at the RAM with Robert Cohen where he holds a scholarship.
Jonah regularly performs across the UK including venues such as Milton Court, Snape Maltings
Proms, the London Jazz Festival (with Led Bib), West Road Concert Hall and the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. Jonah is a highly committed chamber musician and has received coaching from esteemed musicians such Adrian Brendel, Juan-Miguel Hernandez and So-ock Kim.
Konya Kanneh-Mason (18) holds The Gilling Family Scholarship at RAM and studies piano with Tessa Nicholson. Konya plays solo and chamber music, particularly with her siblings, and has performed in concerts around the UK and in the Caribbean, as well as giving solo recitals in Lincoln, Derby, Lampteter, Southwell and London. Konya is a member of Chineke! Orchestra, playing with them at the re-opening of Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank 2018, and will play Beethoven Piano Concerto No 1 with The Orchestra of the Restoration in 2019. She has also appeared with her siblings on numberous television and radio programmes, including the BAFTAs.
