Following a string of sold-out shows across the UK in 2019 Orlando Weeks is delighted to announce a new run of headline shows. With new music developing and release plans in the pipeline, including his debut solo album, Orlando will be bringing his band on the road again to play some carefully chosen venues. Weeks first came to prominence as frontman of The Maccabees. After debuting in 2005, the band became one of the most influential bands of recent years, winning Best British Band at the NME Awards as well as the prestigious Ivor Novello for Best Contemporary Song. After the band split Weeks returned in 2017 with his critically acclaimed project ‘The Gritterman’, an alternative festive tale Weeks wrote and illustrated himself, and for which he also released an accompanying companion album.
