Part of our Listening Room Series.
The Listening Room is a brand new series of live sessions in the Glass Studio. Artists of all kinds will perform fresh material and discuss the ideas that shape their work.
A double-bill of ambient adventure: Andrew Cooke’s pastoral-horror-soundscape project SALTINGS, with Sophie Jackson on cello; and Sean Addicott’s Tapesleep, composed from the perspective of an insomniac. Both artists create deeply atmospheric audio-worlds: Cooke using live instrumental loops, long-form drones and processing, Addicott collaging experimental sound generation, field recording and ambient composition.
