Performing music by Corelli, Albinoni, Torelli, Pergolesi & Vivaldi, all of whom charmed and inspired the great Masters Handel and Bach. In the Baroque era many, like Charles Burney, the musical historian, and Handel himself travelled throughout Italy. The renowned English National Baroque Ensemble returns to St George’s for its Grand Tour concert. This fine baroque ensemble has developed its own distinctive character, style and sound over the past two decades, establishing themselves as a firm favourite on the UK music circuit. Share the enjoyment these players so obviously feel as they perform the great concertos of the Golden Age of Italian Baroque.
