Your support can help us do more

Every year, we must raise at least a third of our income from individuals and charitable sources. As we begin to reopen and recover from Covid-19, we need your support more than ever before.

In a normal year, our supporters help to create:

Magical musical experiences for over 100,000 people, through 300 concerts, events and workshops

The opportunity for thousands of children and young people to take part in our Learning & Participation programme

The resources to care for our beautiful Grade II* listed concert hall.

Supporter FAQs

I love St George’s and I want to help keep the music playing! What level of annual support should I choose?

Please choose whichever level of support you can afford. We are grateful for whatever you feel able to give.

We offer four different levels of supporter types, with options to pay in instalments: Member, Benefactor, Patron, and Star Circle. For more information on each type, please see the page section above. Each supporter type also offers a range of benefits for you to enjoy, such as priority booking or invitations to special events.

What is priority booking?

When we get a new event added to our What’s On listings, tickets are released to our annual supporters before being released to the general public. This is known as ‘priority booking’ and it’s an exclusive benefit for our supporters. Each week, our supporters receive an email detailing our new events and corresponding prioirity booking periods.

Sometimes we release lots of new events at once – such as at the start of a new season. Then, tickets go on sale to our supporters in the following order of priority: Star Circle, Patrons, Benefactors, Members; they are then made available to the general public.

I have tickets to an event. What happens if I change my mind about attending?

If you support us at the Star Circle, Patron, or Benefactor levels, then refunds (or a credit to your account) are available on selected events, with 48 hours’ notice. Please contact the Box Office for more information on selected events. (This benefit isn’t available to Members or the general public.)

If you have tickets for a sold-out event which you no longer want to come to, please consider donating them for re-sale through our Box Office.
