Housed in the ground floor of our stunning pavilion-style extension, our Café serves a delicious locally sourced menu for breakfast and lunches coupled with home-made cakes and Triple Co Coffee for deserts. Herbs and flowers for the meals are picked fresh that day from our beautiful gardens.

Our cake display is located at the front of the Cafe, we rotate our flavours quite regularly so we recommend you take a look at our current selection or ask any member of staff to help.

Food with Music

If you’re visiting us for a concert you can pre-order your evening food platters when booking your tickets with the box office, or online, in advance of your visit. These orders are only available up to 48hours ahead of the concert day. We also have a soup of the day available during the evenings pre-concert.

All our produce is locally and responsibly sourced wherever possible. Please ask our Café Bar staff for further information including allergens and ingredients. Seeing Hearing Tasting is a series based in our café to give a behind-the-scenes peak into the mouth-watering world of our resident food and drink experts.

Coffee cupping – First Saturday of each month.

Join award winning house barista Aaron Carter and special guest speakers to sample beans from around the world, learn about the roasting process and discover the rich variety of tastes and aromas in a speciality cup of coffee.

Garden-to-plate masterclass – Second Saturday of each month.

11.30am – 3.00pm (£20* per ticket, plus booking fee max 10) 

Meet our inspirational young chef Oakan Brousse who will guide you through the preparation of a delicious light lunch and pastry inspired by foraged herbs and flowers from our gardens.

Browse a sumptuous array of produce as we open our doors to local suppliers. Expect delicious cheeses, chutneys, fresh vegetables and more whilst learning about the products from the source

Bar

The bar serves a thoughtfully selected range of wines, spirits, beers and soft drinks, as well as hot drinks and bar snacks – enjoy a relaxed drink before a concert, or meet up with friends during the interval.

The bar is normally open one and a half hours before the performance start times and during the interval.

To avoid queuing in the interval we recommend you order your interval drinks before the concert and they will be arranged for you. You can now do this when booking your tickets with the box office, or online, in advance of your visit.

St George’s Bristol is a no smoking building throughout, smoking is permitted in the garden, please use the bin provided to extinguish cigarettes and keep our grounds litter free.
