Café Bar
Relax and refuel in a different creative space
It’s a bit of a secret, but one of Park Street’s finest Café Bars is right here at St George’s.
Perfect for meeting friends before a gig, a beautiful light lunch, or just a pint in a sunny spot. If you’ve not tried our Café Bar before, make sure to pop in for a dose of musicality with your hospitality.
What’s On the Menu?
Please ask a member of our team if you need information about our ingredients, or any allergies or intolerances.
The items listed in these menus may vary – these are examples of dishes we typically serve. Our selection of cakes and pastries changes daily.
Our Café Bar is perfect for meeting friends before an event, and enjoying pre-event drinks and snacks – but we also offer much more. During the daytime, drop in for light lunches, soft drinks and a tempting selection of teas and barista coffees. Sample our soup of the day, warming vegetarian toasties, and delicious savoury pastries. Or treat yourself to one of our scrumptious cakes.
We are ideally placed for family-friendly visits, with a step-free entrance via Charlotte Street, accessible toilets, beautiful gardens, and outdoor seating options. And during the daytime, we’re dog-friendly too (so are perfectly placed for pitstop after a dog walk on Brandon Hill). We also have free wifi for our Café customers, if you need a city-centre spot to finish that epic novel or check next month’s sales forecast.
Our year-round drinks menu has a fantastic range of wines, local craft beers, and refreshing soft drinks to suit all tastes. We’re working with great local suppliers including Bristol Beer Factory, Lost and Grounded, Lovely Drinks, and Stewart Wines.

Avalen | Wed 26 Nov, 6pm
Avalen – A traditional folk band formed in the cider-soaked pubs of South Bristol. They take their name from their affinity with the Orchard Inn on Spike Island – Avalen being the Cornish word for apple tree. Avalen combine Celtic classics with the nautical tunes of the South West to serve a homely brand of West Country folk music. With bohdrans, fiddles, banjos, guitars and even a bouzouki, Avalen are bringing Bristol back to the old ways, one jig at a time.
Orchard Street Suzuki Group | Wed 3 Dec, 4.30pm
Orchard Street Suzuki Group is a group of young Suzuki cello students who meet weekly in central Bristol to rehearse and play a wide variety of music.
Run by cellist, composer and Suzuki teacher Emma Butterworth, the mixed age group lesson is a space for students to explore repertoire from the Baroque to contemporary and develop their general musicianship skills.
