“The most powerful composer of our time… what Glass is doing is changing the face of music for our time and all time.”

Following his unforgettable appearances at last year’s FILMIC, Philip Glass returns to Bristol for a unique mini-festival, Glassfest.  Over three Glass-filled nights from November 6-8, we present (in collaboration with Colston Hall) a trio of very special musical events.  Watershed screens a complementary short season of films, ‘Beats & Buddhism’, reflecting the composer’s interests in American Beat Culture and the influence of Buddhism.
