Award Winners!

We are delighted to be winners of the Architecture Today Schüco Excellence Awards

It’s been announced that Patel Taylor’s design for our beautiful new building is the Overall Winner of the 2021 Architecture Today Schüco Excellence Awards, as well as being a category winner for the ‘Steel Project’ Category.

In their assessment of the entries for the Awards, the judges focused on four key criteria: creativity, innovation, technical skill and creative collaboration. With St George’s Bristol being announced as the winner, the judges said:

This is a very well resolved project, particularly the way in which the curtain walling is used to connect the new and old elements.
Ingrid Petit

The window and curtain walling systems are expertly handled on this exceptional building.
Steve Mudie

Contextural sensitivity combined with beautiful spaces and the careful curation of daylight makes St George’s Bristol a worthy winner.
Hazel Joseph

We are thrilled that our stunning extension by Patel Taylor has received this recognition.
