We couldn’t be more excited to announce that we’ll be taking part in the Big Give Arts for Impact week from Tue 18 – Tue 25 March! With the help of the Big Give, we’re here to show the power music has in bringing people, and the strength we can have in that togetherness.

Your donation will be matched pound for pound by the Big Give and our own match funding champions. Find out more about our campaign.

Queer Song Fest

Curated by classical pianist Kunal Lahiry and created in collaboration with Bristol Pride, this series of three concerts is a necessary and boundary-pushing step in making classical music accessible for the LGBTQ community in Bristol and beyond.

Rewriting the narrative of queerness within classical music, this series will not only demonstrate the rich history of queerness within the classical music scene but diversify the classical audience, providing LGBTQ communities with a safe space to experience incredible music which has been historically less accessible.

From operatic cabaret sensation, Le Gateau Chocolat, to an evening of song and vogue with Grammy Award-wining tenor Frederick Ballentine—who, along with Kunal, will be teaming up with the Bristol Ballroom Community—Queer Song Fest is set to be an outstanding series of concerts pushing for positive change within the classical music scene.
