A full and vibrant programme, with over 250 events each year, makes St George’s an incredibly popular and important music venue for all genres.
We have a stunning pavilion-style extension, with exhibition and performance spaces, and Café Bar with delicious home-made light lunches, coffee and cake.
St George’s is also a charity (registration number 295178) dedicated to promoting high quality music to diverse audiences. We do this by offering the best classical, jazz, blues, folk and world music as well as family concerts and talks, plus learning and participation programme.
We rely on ticket sales and venue hire to meet much of our annual running costs of £1 million, receiving public funding of just £35,000. Each year we are faced with a shortfall of around £300,000 which must be raised from donations. To find out how you can support St George’s, please visit Support Us.
We have been granted the use of Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s See It Safely mark. The mark certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences. You can find out more here about the measures we and other accredited organisations have been putting in place ready for your visit, and what you will need to know beforehand.
