Terms & Conditions

Our ticketing terms for performances and events

When you buy tickets for one of our events (through our Box Office or this website) you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. There may be other terms if you purchase through approved ticket agencies or in situations where we act as a ticket agent for another organisation.

Tickets are sold by St George’s Bristol, Great George Street (off Park Street), Bristol, BS1 5RR, a charity registered in England and Wales No. 295178

All ticket prices are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to offer discounts or introduce special offers which may be limited or only applicable for selected criteria and which cannot be applied retrospectively.

Tickets can be reserved without payment in person or by calling the Box Office and can be held for up to 3 working days. If you are not able to confirm and pay for your tickets within this period, the reserved tickets will be released again for sale. For group bookings please enquire about different terms on 0117 929 4929.

If you choose to print your ticket at the Box Office, we may levy a small fee. This is to encourage the move to E-Tickets, which are better for the environment. If you choose to have a ticket posted to you, the postage charge is payable by you.

Tickets are for the use of the buyer and their party and cannot be resold for private or commercial gain. This helps prevent ticket touting. We will refuse admission and cancel tickets without refund if we believe this condition has been breached.

We reserve the right to make changes to the advertised programme and provide alternative seats if necessary.

We can accept no responsibility for any loss due to cancellations or changes to events. If a show you have booked tickets for is cancelled, you will be entitled to a full refund of the face value of the ticket, or we can credit your St George’s Bristol account with the face value of the ticket. The credit on your account will then last for 12 months. Booking fees are non-refundable.

It is the ticket booker’s responsibility to check for any age guidance or restrictions before purchase.

Refunds are only offered for sold out events when we are able to resell the ticket/s.

Food and drink items that have been pre-purchased alongside tickets are non-refundable. However if an event is sold out and a ticket is re-sold, then pre-purchased food and drink items related to the re-sold ticket can be refunded. This must be agreed directly with the St George’s Bristol team as part of the refund process, and the process must be completed a minimum of 4 working days prior to the event.

For everyone’s safety and security, we may conduct bag/clothing searches and confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption. Bags larger than a medium-sized rucksack are not permitted in the hall.

We reserve the right to refuse admission. Latecomers will be admitted at the first suitable break at the steward’s discretion.

St George’s Bristol (or its approved agents) may produce film, photography or sound recordings which may include audience members. We will indicate this is taking place with signage and, if possible, we will let ticket holders know before the event. Please advise anyone in our front of house team of stewards if you don’t want to be photographed or filmed. Please note that we don’t encourage photographs, video or audio recordings during performances, unless otherwise stated in publicity or pre-concert emails.

We hold data by agreement with you to process your ticket purchase/reservation, membership or donation, or if you join our mailing list. You can read our full Privacy Policy here.
