Last Leg Host and comedian Adam Hills returns to Slapstick with his unstoppable wit, warmth and sharp comedic instinct. And joining him is the unmatched Mike McCartney: performer, photographer, storyteller and natural-born mischief-maker. For 2026, we’re throwing them together as a brand-new double act for a one-off experiment in spontaneous comedy and creativity: SHOW & TELL.

Each arrives with precious objects hidden in a sack. No one knows what the other has brought. A photograph… a prop… a family relic… a ridiculous trinket… each object sparks a story, a memory, a confession or a burst of unexpected humour. Together, Adam and Mike interview each other, leap off each other’s stories, and dive into the strange, joyful, heartfelt places only two seasoned performers can reach when the script is thrown away.
