Alina Ibragimova & Cédric Tiberghien
Part of CAVATINA
This event has passed.
Following on from their sensational sold out BBC Proms concert in August 2022 at St George’s, Cédric Tiberghien and Alina Ibragimova bring their profoundly instinctive musical understanding to Schumann’s violin sonatas, written towards the end of his life, each impassioned, lyrical and full of complex emotion.
Schumann Sonatas Nos 1 & 3
Paganini Caprices No 13, No 6, and No 24
Schumann Sonata No 2
This is a unique and flourishing musical collaboration – forged in 2005 when both players were BBC New Generation Artists – characterised by a shared breadth of musical interests, outstanding interpretative sensibility, and sheer gifted virtuosity.
