To celebrate the 90th birthday of Estonian master-composer Arvo Pärt, join the Bristol Ensemble for an extraordinary evening of some of his best-known pieces in the intimate candle-lit atmosphere of St George’s Bristol.
Pärt is one of the most prominent composers of modern times and his music is both profoundly human and otherworldly, steeped in deep emotion yet emanating from an almost meditative stillness. Tonight his legacy is honoured with performances of five of his most iconic works which capture the dramatic beauty and transcendental simplicity of his visionary approach.
