Singing regularly across the region to great critical acclaim the choir quickly become known for its exciting and original interpretations of Renaissance and Baroque music, as well as new works of living composers.

Bristol MAN Chorus

A fine distillation of ‘man-singing’ traditions – salty shanties, medieval madness, aching spirituals, feisty folk and much much more. By the people who brought you Gurt Lush Choir

The MAN Chorus is part of a growing movement catering to men who would like to try singing in a men-only choir but want more than the bow ties and blazers associated with traditional male voice and barbershop outfits.

Gurt Lush
8.15-9pm
Known for our ambitious repertoires and fearless performances, Gurt Lush have grown to be one of the largest and most remarkable open-access choirs in the country.

The choir love champion new works, particularly by local composers, gaining them a reputation for sourcing extreme and exciting a cappella world music. They regularly enjoy street busking, carol singing and charity performances of all kinds and even once sang in the dark in the Staple Hill Tunnel for an Australian project known as Galaxy of Suns.
