St George’s is transformed into a candlelit auditorium taking us back to the Chiesa di Santa Maria Della Pieta in Venice where Antonio Vivaldi worked and performed many of his compositions.
100 candles will adorn the stage and the Bristol Ensemble along with the Fitzhardinge Consort will perform some of Vivaldi’s greatest works including the stunning Gloria and concertos for Bassoon, Mandolin and of course Winter from the Four Seasons.
