After a successful summer concert in The Beacon, Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra returns to St Georges.

The programme opens with the overture to Humperdinck’s much loved opera, followed by a little known tone poem by Dvorak recounting in music a Czech story of a misbehaving child and punishing witch. We finish with Brahms’s third symphony, believed by many to be the finest of his symphonic output.
