Exultate Singers: Seasons of Life and Leaf

This event has passed.

Celebrate the seasons of the year and of life with Bristol’s accomplished chamber choir Exultate Singers.

The concert traces the journey through life, mirrored in the ever-changing features of nature through the year, in music and readings from across Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. Exploring the timeless thread from mediaeval times to the present day, this carefully curated programme of music showcases evocative and intensely moving pieces by living composers, including the world premiere of a specially commissioned piece by the leading British composer Roxanna Panufnik.

A selection of evocative and atmospheric poems compliment the beautiful choral music, read by the Bristol-based actor Rose McPhilemy.
