Fox: Neighbour, Villain, Icon

This event has passed.
Thought-provoking talk, accompanied by stunning photographs, on the fascinating world of the fox and our complex relationship with it.

Award-winning photographers Andy Parkinson, Matt Maran and Neil Aldridge have devoted over 20 years to photographing all aspects of the lives of Britain’s foxes and their interactions with humans.

They have combined their talents to produce the most comprehensive photo book about one of Britain’s best known predators. Their powerful and sensitive images shed light on the truth about foxes and seek to dispel many of the myths that malign society’s attitudes towards these enigmatic animals. They will present their work featured in the book and are joined in conversation by Mary Colwell, author of Beak, Tooth and Claw: Living with Predators in Britain.

This event has been produced by the Nature Picture Library in partnership with St George’s Bristol. The Bristol-based Nature Picture Library represents some of the world’s leading nature photographers and actively promotes conservation stories.
