John Law's Congregation

This event has passed.

One of the UK’s most imaginative and adventurous pianists John Law has assembled a stellar band to present his new album Congregation (Ubuntu Music), a captivating, anthemic, powerfully rhythmic and groove infused electro-acoustic gem.

Featuring James Mainwaring (Roller Trio Mercury Prize nominee) on sax and guitar, Ashley John Long on bass and Dave Hamblett on drums, the subtle soundscapes bring together the many parts of Law’s kaleidoscopic musical interests – jazz, rock, classical, electronics – with each composition occupying a different visual space, together forming a glittering whole.
