Georgie Ward is a leading light on the Bristol music scene, classically trained but influenced by a whole range of music that shines through her own passionately original compositions, equally adept on a grand piano or synthesisers.

She’ll be showcasing her multifaceted talents in two performances on the same day, the first this lunchtime concert performing contemporary composers, the second a Listening room session, where she’ll be playing new material and talking about her writing process.

For this lunchtime concert Georgie is focusing on some of her favourite contemporary composers, a distinctive selection of miniatures – beautiful, idiosyncratic, evocative – the perfect lunchtime soundtrack.
