Join J*M*A and My Midnight Heart in this new series of relaxed daylight gigs – a chance to hear artists close-up and pared back in an informal setting.

Self-produced singer-songwriter My Midnight Heart (aka Angélica Allen) creates powerful alt R&B characterized by ethereal sonic landscapes and poetic vocals – airiness offset by dark, hip-hop influenced beats. This is dreamy, danceable avant-pop at its finest. Following the success of her Chest of Hearts EP, including a tour supporting Tegan and Sara, and features in Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and Vice Magazine, Angélica retreated from performing to focus on learning music production and sound design to be able to fully control her work along its journey from conception to completion.

Bristol-based J*M*A (aka Jemma Roberts) is a neurodivergent alt / electro / pop artist and producer whose musical life started out as an acoustic guitar wielding singer-songwriter. Influenced by a love of house music, dance and mainstream pop, her upbeat rhythms provide a backdrop for quirky, darkly emotive lyrics sung through a tender, punky voice, precise and raw. J*M*A has appeared in various collaborations with Canadian house producer Remi Blaze and Bristol hip-hop producer Subcalledstate. Her next project is a cathartic album of tracks about her late diagnosis of ADHD to raise awareness and improve understanding, especially for girls and women.

Children welcome.
