Listening Room: Bethany Ley

Independent producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Bethany Ley creates utterly unique soundworlds informed by an eclectic array of influences, from Indonesian Gamelan, Debussy, and Alice Coltrane to the popular voices of Cocorosie, Aphex Twin, and FKA twigs.
Her “sublime twilight electronica” (Music is My Sanctuary) combines virtuoso arrangements with intriguing granular sound design, creating an otherworldly, hypnotic soundscape. This is a Listening Room session so Bethany will be performing as well as discussing her creative process.
