The Great Day Choir is a daytime choir for women of all ages who enjoy singing together. Our aim is to leave you feeling great through the power of uplifting songs and warm community!
The choir was set up by Beth Morgan in 2017 firstly as one choir in Mangotsfield on a Monday afternoon. We started with 11 singers. Later that year, Bella Mamas was opened at a local community hub and cafe. Bella Mamas started as a child friendly choir for women of all ages. In the following years choirs were then set up in Knowle Bristol, Southdown Bath and most recently Larkhall Bath.
The choir has performed across the region at events including Bath Party in the City, Bath Choirs Festival, ChoirLab, Singing City. They have toured to Torquay and more recently, Surrey to perform in ChoirBlast. Their busking activities have raised thousands for charities.
If you are interested in joining the choir, they are taking new members this coming September. There are no auditions and no need to read music. Everything the choir sings is learnt by ear in sessions. You can find out more at www.thegreatdaychoir.co.uk
Pre-event Food & Drink
Enjoy delicious drinks and light bites from our Café Bar ahead of the event.
Available to pre-order when booking your tickets, you can choose from a selection of house drinks on arrival, accompanied by a mezze board of bread, dips, olives, stuffed peppers, falafel, feta cheese and garden salad (all vegetarian). Just select which option – for one or two people – you would like, before checkout. Or if you’ve already booked, please email boxoffice@stgeorgesbristol.co.uk to add your food to your order.
Your pre-ordered food and drink will be available to collect from the Café Bar from 90 minutes before the event. It’s the perfect way to begin your event experience at St George’s!
