Melody Makers Choir
This event has passed.
Melody Makers Choir, a Bristol based community choir, perform at St. George’s for the first time, singing a variety of banging pop classics, heart warming ballads and a selection of maritime themed songs to celebrate the RNLI commemorating two centuries of life saving.
MMC are delighted to host our first evening of music at St. George’s Bristol. The Henleaze based community choir, which has been running for 8 years under the direction of Natalie Cooper, have gone from strength to strength with now over 120 members. They pride themselves on creating a warm and friendly community where making friends and music is equally valued.
The choir are delighted to share a varied programme of folk, pop and rock, with a second half of maritime themed music to celebrate the RNLI in its bicentennial year. Their ‘Sing to Save Lives’ concert will feature the newly commissioned work Crossing The Bar by composer Craig McLeish, based on a Tennyson poem.
