Renowned naturalist Chris Sperring and conservationist and author Mary Colwell discuss the wonders of nature in the winter months. A Winter Wonderland isn’t just robins and mistletoe (although they are part of it, too!); it holds delights, secrets and clues everywhere.

Chris and Mary will talk about winter birdsong, identifying trees without leaves, what is hidden in the bark and under rocks, what is moving around in the grass and – excitingly – how to find the signs that spring is not far away. Join us for a wild wintry talk and take note: after the conversation there is the option to join Chris on Brandon Hill Park for an afternoon exploration of the wintry world of nature, ticketed separately.

The talk will last approximately 1 hour. The walk up to Brandon Hill Park is limited capacity, and will last approximately 1 hour. Please note, if the weather is extremely windy or rainy, the walk will not happen.
