Paul Jones’ Big Band Blues Bash!

At the age of 15, a recording of Jimmy Rushing with Count Basie was Paul Jones’s introduction to the sound of big band blues. 60 years later via Manfred Mann, Eric Clapton, The Blues Band and BBC’s The Blues Show, Jones revisits that early inspiration with a powerhouse big band backing him in a selection of his personal blues and swing favourites.
