Join the philosopher Rebecca Buxton as she explores some of the big ideas that connect with and emerge from this week’s news stories.
We’re delighted to welcome Rebecca, lecturer in social and political philosophy at the University of Bristol, to this autumn’s Philosophical Times, whilst Julian Baggini is away. Rebecca researches topics including citizenship, migration and exile; she also works on the history of women in philosophy and is co-editor of the book The Philosopher Queens. Sit back and enjoy the live conversation or take part as much as you like – this is always a lively and inspiring discussion!
Rising Stars
This winter, we’re asking you to support our Rising Stars Campaign, to help young, talented musicians thrive in 2024 and beyond.
We’re creating performance opportunities for emerging artists, nurturing young careers, as well as developing music education workshops and recording and broadcast opportunities.
