Red Roses Yarn Art Project

Join the Red Roses Yarn Art project to celebrate the Women’s Rugby World Cup which is coming to Bristol this summer.

Inspired by the Red Roses’ love of crochet as a team-bonding activity, England Rugby are calling on the nation to take part in a Yarn Art Installation project, designed to inspire the next generation of female players and deliver a legacy for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025. Join with friends, family, or your local rugby team to create a crotchet Red Rose to help support our England Red Roses team in the upcoming competition. Once you’ve made your roses there will also be an opportunity to install the yarn art in a range of local cultural venues and institutions across Bristol during the tournament (22nd August to 27 September 2025).
