Rhona Macfarlane’s richly evocative songs marry an expansive sense of storytelling with a tender, introspective lyricism. Her early exposure to folk music and her classical training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland have shaped a unique sound full of gentle guitar, intimate vocals and cinematic strings. Her work has been described as “building an atmosphere of tranquillity and respite”.

Macfarlane released her debut album, As The Chaos Unfolds, in early 2025. The album, written in her mid-20s, captures the often-chaotic journey of navigating early adulthood. The album was widely acclaimed and was played on the likes of BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music.
