Celebrating the incredible work of music mentoring charity Seed Sessions, Oscar Jerome – one of the charity’s ambassadors – brings his funky, ambient mix of jazz, hip hop and neo-soul to the Glass Studio, with support provided by Seed Sessions’ participants Danny Burrito and Coterie.
Seed Sessions, set up in response to the mental health crisis within men, provides music and counselling sessions for young male musicians in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Oscar Jerome is a leading light on London’s vibrant young jazz scene. Guitarist with Afrobeat innovators Kokoroko, he has collaborated with a raft of brilliant jazz pioneers including Moses Boyd, Shabaka Hutchings, Joe Armon-Jones, Nubya Garcia and Emma-Jean Thackray.
