Snowpoet + JOW

Part of Just Announced Soundworlds Festival of Voice

This event has passed.

Hailed as “one of the most innovative and creative bands in the UK today” (Soweto Kinch / BBC Radio3), Snowpoet return to St George’s to premiere their much anticipated fourth studio album Heartstrings.

Lauren Kinsella voice
Josh Arcoleo saxophone and bass
Matt Robinson piano and keys
Chris Hyson bass and synth
Dave Hamblett drums

Snowpoet’s music offers a rare insight into song and poetic lyric writing, holding a space for the complexities found in love, loss, change and ultimately renewal. Their music is “a beautiful statement of the heart” (Arts Desk) and “the kind of music you often look back to” (Written In Music). With a dedicated and ever-growing fan base worldwide, their sound is a testament to the group’s original and beautiful voice.

Before Snowpoet, brilliant, highly original local duo JOW play a 30 minute set.
