Tonight, renowned Bristol based saxophonist Sophie Stockham takes inspiration from Bjork and Gorecki to brings us an original and innovative new project beautifully mixing the worlds of jazz and classical.
During the 2020 lockdown, Sophie studied the art of string arranging and composition, her debut album Ria was the end result. In this special concert, Sophie proudly showcases her passion and talent with pieces inspired by life’s cycles, experiences of being a woman in society and the beauty of our oceans and rivers.
