Underwater Tales

This event has passed.
Listen to the fascinating stories behind the stunning photographs from two of the worlds leading marine photographers.

Award-winning underwater photographers Tony Wu and Alex Mustard talk about their photography practice and recount incredible stories about their adventures capturing marine life on camera. A surprising and delightful evening of conversation and stunning underwater photography by winners of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Wild British Seas: When Alex Mustard was forced to stay at home in Britain during the Covid pandemic, he headed for the sea to reveal a surprising range of engaging creatures living in our coastal waters.

Something Old Something New: Tony Wu – a master of capturing unique animal behaviour underwater – spent years with whales observing and photographing their lives before deciding to concentrate on lesser known creatures off the coast of Japan where he lives.

This event has been produced by the Nature Picture Library in partnership with St George’s Bristol. The Bristol-based Nature Picture Library represents some of the world’s leading nature photographers and actively promotes conservation stories.
