Wild Words: Animal Magic

If you could be any animal, what would you be? Fly, jump, run and swim with storytellers Hannah and Michael for tantalising tales, myths, music, games and dance inspired by the wonders of the animal kingdom. Be bemused, befuddled, bewitched and bedazzled with stories from Aesop’s Fables, the Brothers Grimm and more!

Playshop: 3.15pm

Event starts with a creative ‘PlayShop’, followed by a short break, then the Wild Words performance. Event ends c.5pm. Make up your own stories of animal magic with our puppets: sing a song and do a dance that’ll be in the show!

Event most suitable for children aged 6 and above, although everyone is welcome!

About Wild Words

Hannah Moore is a traditional storyteller for children and adults with a background in theatre and dance. She teaches for the School of Storytelling and also runs story dance events like the Fairy Tale Ceilidh. She loves travelling into magical kingdoms with story-listeners, to discover together what treasures lie waiting there!

Michael Loader has immersed himself in the world of stories for a few decades or more now, propelled and inspired by creating a space that we can travel to and be together. If he were a bee he would buzz with creativity and imagination, although he is very partial to honey! He has travelled far and wide telling and teaching with all ages with humour and integrity.
